Os jovens integrantes do Projeto Clube Galera de Atitude, capitaneado pela ONG Instituto de Juventude Contemporânea – IJC, realizarão, neste sábado (16/01), uma caminhada contra a violência, a exploração sexual e outras formas de extermínio da juventude.
A caminhada será realizada no Grande Bom Jardim, com ponto de encontro na Praça da Igreja do Canindezinho (Av. Osório de Paiva), a partir das 15h. Os jovens percorrerão a Avenida, entre as comunidades periféricas, terminando o percurso no Shopping Solidário Bom Mix, também na Osório de Paiva. Será realizado debate sobre as formas de violência que acontecem no local. Teremos também apresentações culturais, como peça de teatro, dança e shows, com artistas do próprio bairro, no próprio Bom Mix.
O evento faz parte da Campanha “Quero Viver”, que tem o objetivo de combater o extermínio da juventude, protagonizado por jovens de todas as partes da cidade, que participam do Clube Galera de Atitude, desenvolvendo ações estratégicas contra as diversas formas de violência, a exemplo da atividade integrante “Direito de Resposta da Juventude”, que combate a criminalização e exposição negativa de jovens por programas policiais.
A meta da campanha é realizar ações concretas contra as diversas formas de violência que atingem principalmente os jovens em situação de vulnerabilidade social, através de audiências públicas, eventos nos bairros de Fortaleza, intervenções culturais, entre outras ações.
A escolha da região do Bom Jardim se justifica por ser a região uma das que guardam alguns dos maiores incidentes relacionados ao extermínio da juventude, segundo a avaliação dos mais de 400 jovens que integram o projeto, sendo que destes, pelo menos 80 são moradores dos bairros Siqueira, Canindezinho, Bom Jardim e Jardim Jatobá.
