Pela primeira vez e de maneira inovadora, o evento utilizará as Tics como elemento articulador, iniciando preliminarmente as discussões na Internet.
O tema do encontro será “Redes e Inovação para a Prevenção e Erradicação do Trabalho Infantil”. No formato on-line, o objetivo será levantar, discutir e disseminar estudos e práticas entre pesquisadores, especialistas renomados e público envolvido no combate ao trabalho infantil na Ibero-américa, para contribuir para o fortalecimento da rede de pessoas e organizações que atuam na área. A Fundação Telefônica aposta que a mobilização é chave fundamental para o desenvolvimento e a sustentabilidade das ações locais, regionais e internacionais contra o trabalho infantil.
“Com um formato inédito, o encontro on-line se constituirá num amplo espaço de discussão sobre trabalho infantil, onde todos os atores envolvidos poderão trocar informações e experiências, sobretudo no que diz respeito à América Latina”, afirma Sérgio Mindlin, diretor-presidente da Fundação Telefônica. “Assim, os dois dias do encontro de presencial ganham expressiva ampliação e contribuição”, complementa o executivo.

O encontro na web ocorrerá nos meses de setembro e outubro e convergirá para as apresentações do evento em Bogotá. A ideia é gerar uma discussão contínua, que enriqueça as sessões plenárias, antes e durante a reunião presencial, e também posteriormente, no âmbito da Internet. É esperada a participação de representantes do terceiro setor e de organismos internacionais de 13 países da Ibero-américa, além de responsáveis, nesses países, pela formulação de políticas públicas de combate ao trabalho infantil; professores universitários; pesquisadores e investidores sociais.
O ambiente virtual contará com diversas atividades programadas, como mesas-redondas com especialistas; vídeos com apresentações de estudos e análises dos diferentes países participantes; chats e fóruns sobre temas específicos; palestras, experiências e sessões de apresentação de trabalhos do público em geral. Além disso, todos os participantes terão acesso a um ambiente de rede social, como Facebook, Twitter, Orkut e Youtube, onde poderão inserir fotos e perfis, além de terem a oportunidade de se comunicar entre si e estabelecer intercâmbio de experiências.
As inscrições estão abertas tanto àqueles que queiram enviar palestras, estudos, pesquisas e trabalhos acadêmicos para apresentação, quanto para os que desejam apenas participar das discussões. Os interessados em participar devem efetuar a inscrição, que é gratuita, no site.
